The Taoist Study Group of the Lehigh Valley gathers to read and discuss a verse of the Tao Te Ching, the classic text by Lao Tsu, from 3 or 4 different translations, as well as relevant articles or Taoist stories. We seek to gain insight about Taoist thought and, ultimately, to make positive changes in our lives by living in harmony with the Tao. In addition to our monthly study meetings, we get together informally to explore related topics such as Taoist poetry and art, Qigong healing and acupuncture, feng shui in landscape design, Taoist nature meditation and mindful hiking. Our meetings are held once a month on a Saturday morning at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Bethlehem. If you are interested in joining us, you may contact Nancy at peas2u2@verizon.net for more information.
